Bohol Travel Diary Uno

Here's to the first adventure of the year with the family at one of the most visited places in the Philippines. Revisiting this place of pure nature and history after 7 years with the best people to hang around with.
Bohol was the place we visited right after New Year's Day. It was a mix celebration for the New Year and for my cousin (since she was a New Year baby). Bohol is a place where you want to devour and divulge yourself in the beauty of nature and witness the historical places that made Bohol one to visit.
Some of the tourist spots we visited were the ever-so famous Chocolate Hills, the Blood Compact Monument, the Man-made Forest, Floating Restaurant, the Tarsiers, the Bohol Bee Farm and my favorite, Panglao and its white sandy sandy, serene  beach.
It was just an overnight stay at Bohol but we definitely had to fit all those touristy spots in one day. I know Bohol is more of a nature-kind of place; heels and skirts weren't an option for my wardrobe. I chose the good ol' shorts-and-shirts ensemble with matching floral hat and my new Nike Roshe kicks. Figured I should dress down and feel comfortable since I had to climb up 300+ stairs just to see some Chocolate Hills and the sun was scorching hot at some point, too. My Roshes were heaven and comfortable to wear, as well- my new faves as of the moment. And you can never go wrong with a sleeveless cropped top, too. Just to beat the heat.
You can clearly see these two pictures above, we were at the Bohol Bee Farm as our last stop before heading back home to Cebu. Most of the places we've visited were historical places and nature's best, obviously. I even slipped at the Tarsier Botanical Garden cause of its slippery cemented floor, clumsy me. But other than that, Bohol was lovely as I remember seven years ago.

NOTE: THIS HAS BEEN A LONG OVERDUE POST. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

More of Bohol Part Dos and Panglao SOON!
