Lady Geek: Trailers that Swoon Me

I've always been an admirer for tv, films and celebrities. I am OBSESSED with watching trailers that really get to me, you know. By "get to me", I mean really making me react to every emotion I could possibly think of- from crying balls of tears to discretely laughing my guts out in the office room. Speaking of trailers, I wanna share to you guys some "trailer finds" that I really really REALLY enjoyed and I would really really REALLY want to watch. The acting, the screenplay, the actors and the soundtrack all made these trailers at the top of the must-watch movies in my list. I don't know about you, but these are my favorites so far.

1. This Is Where I Leave You (Jane Fonda, Jason Bateman and Tina Fey)

With a cast like this, this family dramedy movie will surely pack a punch of emotions. I love family movies, and this trailer was a fun one. I love it when siblings just go back to their roots- to their home.

2. Laggies (Keira Knightley and Chloe Grace Moretz)

An all-American Keira Knightley. That's all I can say!!!

3. Gone Girl (Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris)

Crimes, murder mysteries, betrayal, love, investigations-gosh!- my kind of #moviegasm. Watch Ben Affleck become the most hated man in America in Gone Girl.

4. Men, Women & Children (Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler and Ansel Elgort)

Even being surrounded with modern communication, social media, technology, people still feel so lonely or alone in today's world. A star-studded cast makes up a powerful movie without having to mutter any words.

5. The Judge (Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton)

Even just the trailer itself, it definitely is going to be tearjerker movie for the family, especially to a father-child relationship. I'm always a softy when it comes to family drama movies especially when an estranged family member gets involved and has to rekindle the relationship with the family. This is a whole different side of RDJ, definitely no Iron Man here. Haha! And not to mention Academy Award Winner Robert Duvall as RDJ's estranged judge dad.

6. The Theory of Everything (Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones)

This trailer! This trailer, I just can't. Feelings of blissful tears, hope and love just made me really smile and look forward for this movie. Eddie Redmayne gives an all-out performance as the genius that is Stephen Hawking.

7. Love, Rosie (Lilly Collins and Sam Claflin)

I mean we've all seen stories of unrequited love, friends turn into lovers and all those romantic movies/stories out there. Love, Rosie is one of these stories. But what makes it stand out is the journey of these two best friends, despite some challenges, manages to keep in touch and love each other. Idk if they'd end up with each other- all the more that I would want to watch this movie. Plus Sam Claflin is here so yeah.

8. Final Girl (Abigail Breslin)

You don't normally think of Abigail Breslin as some badass buttkicking killer b*****. Think again. And she's blonde and all-grown up too. Last I remember, she was 10 years old, nominated for an Oscar with her pink little dress. How time flies.

Okay, so far I hope you guys like what I chose. I hope some tears and fears came out of your system...I hope! The list still goes on but so far these are my top 8 favorite, must-watch trailers for 2014. I suggest you read one of the sources I found that got me hooked to some of these trailers.

I'm open to more trailer suggestions and movie suggestions as well. I love love love discovering new art, new screenplay and a new creative mind.

Till next time loves!
